We just wanted to let you know how happy we were with the installation
of our satellite system on October 8, 2006. Our salesperson was Missy
at Dish Network who handled our new account wonderfully! There were two
installers who came to our house. One of the men was nicknamed
"Catfish" but I think his real name is Cliff Pollard. I don't remember
the name of the other man but they came right in and knew what to do and
did it. They were very personable people and we enjoyed having them.
They were very efficient and knowledgeable of their job. They explained
everything very well to us and we have enjoyed our satellite system

I have been trying to find someone since July, 2006 that could install a tv system that
would allow me to record and watch programs and rental CD's. Thus far, Dish has been out to my house, Direct has been out and finally AT&T installed cable for me in July after informing me I could not use a DVR in my apt complex. Dish Network, as well as Direct informed me they could not "make it work" in an apt without a lot of installation issues which might leave me with cable running across the middle of some rooms! Therefore, I settled for cable but without the ability to record or watch movies for rent!
Then on Wednesday of this week, appeared John. I was expecting the worst news when he told me it would be " no problem" and by that afternoon I had just what I wanted and in addition, a PERFECT installation. It looks wonderful and works perfectly. Don't ever let John leave the company as he is one in a million. He is an awesome employee as well as a real pleasure to get to know.
Thanks to him and to Dish Network I am a VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!

This letter is to commend your company for exceptional customer service. I am a new DISH network customer. My home is a zero lot line town house; because it was built for me, I know about its construction- and problems! The house was built before it was common to incorporate TV cable into the wiring. Thus, I knew that getting cable or other TV service was going to be complicated.
Your service head Dino was the only person that I spoke with in the cable/dish business who understood the need for a pre-installation inspection.
The technician, Jon, who did the initial survey understood my concerns and the problems. He is the person who did the installation. He did a fine job and it was not easy!
After we were all connected, a strange problem developed. The number one set/receiver would not respond to the remote control until the TV set had been on for ten to twenty minutes - meanwhile the other two sets functioned perfectly. Dino was most patient - sending out Eric two or three times with new receivers and remotes.
Finally after extended consultation with Dish engineering the mystery was solved. Jon brought out a different type of remote control and the system is fine.
This is a testimony to real customer service. Live people on the phone who do return messages. Service personnel who keep trying until the problem is solved. And all of them with true civility and tact.
I would heartily recommend your company to anyone invested in dealing directly with the people from whom they are purchasing - and expect - service.

Thanks for providing excellent service. Jon did a great job in his installation here. He did not find the normal angle for South Asian channels but he worked hard (he did not have to) to complete the installation.

Your service beats direct TV no contest - My mail to you concerning a service problem was answered with such dispachand the caller not only fixex the problem but was professional as well.
